Nirvair Singh Khalsa began studying with Yogi Bhajan in1970. He is a retired university instructor. He taught classes in Kundalini Yoga at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, for 30 years. Since his retirement from the University, he has become the CEO of the Kundalini Research Institute. He has authored 19 DVD’s and 4 books on Kundalini Yoga. Nirvair Kaur Khalsa is a lifelong student of Yogi Bhajan and Kundalini Yoga after having first met him in 1971. She is a skillful and experienced teacher and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and curiosity for spiritual development. She uses the transformational practice and teaching of Kundalini Yoga as an important intuitive and healing guidance system for this journey into the Aquarian Age.
She was the co-founder and director of the Kundalini Yoga Center of Alaska and has and taught locally and nationally for many years as well as internationally in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Having been sent by Yogi Bhajan to teach in Anchorage, Alaska in 1975 she and her husband, Nirvair Singh, continued for many years to inspire and teach there while raising 2 wonderful children and enjoying the wildness, extreme beauty and changing seasons of Alaska. They have recently moved to New Mexico to continue the study, practice, and advancement of these valuable teachings together.
Sat Siri Kaur
Sat Siri, a lifelong yogi and athlete, is a former ballet dancer with the Australian Ballet. She has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 20 years, and completed her Kundalini Yoga teacher training under the guidance of Yogi Bhajan.
After becoming certified by KRI and IKYTA, Sat Siri opened the first Kundalini Yoga studio in Sydney, Australia. Now working from Los Angeles where she is a senior member of the Golden Bridge teacher training team, she frequently travels internationally and trains new teachers in Australia, India, Canada, and the United States.
Sat Siri’s teaching style is uplifting, challenging and healing. She believes it is everyone’s birthright to experience the peace, grace and blessings that awaken with daily Kundalini Yoga and Meditation.
She currently resides in Hollywood with her husband Abinashi, and daughter Prem.
Jugat Guru Singh Khalsa has been an IKYTA Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Kundalini Yoga Lead Teacher Trainer for Level 1 and Level 2 at Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar, India for the last 15 years. He grew up and studied under the guidance of Yogi Bhajan, and has dedicated his life to serving the mission of Yogi Bhajan by helping to shape the next generation into leaders and teachers of this amazing technology.
Jugat Guru Singh has studied and practiced sound and naad under several masters in India for the last 12 years, and had the privilege of sitting directly with Yogi Bhajan to enrich his understanding of this vast science.
He has been mentored by Guru Dev Singh, and helps host the Reman and Kundalini Surjee international japa retreats annually. Besides teaching Jugat Guru Singh is also the principal of Miri Piri Academy, and a member of Chardi Kala Jetha who travel extensively teaching and performing Kirtan at youth camps and in many Sikh communities around the world.
Jugat Guru Singh was sent by Yogi Bhajan to live and work at Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar, and has made a life there with his wife and three young kids for the last 16 years.
